documentary photography that makes you feel.

(aka, the real stuff)

Photography is, at its core, storytelling. We’re shaped by the stories we’re told, and we’re seen through telling our own. You don’t need an special occasion to tell your story, the story of your family - biological or chosen - the story of your art, or even your business.

I’m here to document the sublime absurdity that is simply existing on this planet, in this era. I’m here to celebrate your life, whatever part of it you feel compelled to share, however it is that you are. Genuine snippets of the everyday, through a documentary lens.

If it’s your jam, I also love doing intentional casual-capture portraiture. What does that mean? For a start, “portraiture,” does not have to be posed. It doesn’t have to involve grip-and-grin smiles. Webster dictionary defines a portrait as “A likeness of a person; a representation of character.” And as documentary photographers know, this can be done in so many ways.
